AUBURN — A missing Arizona teenager was located at a Circle K convenience store early Tuesday morning, Auburn Deputy Chief Tim Cougle said.

At 1:35 a.m., Auburn police department was notified that Aspen Bell, 15, was in a vehicle at the Circle K convenience store on Washington Street. Officers responded and were able to locate the youth.

Bell’s parents and the Phoenix police were notified of her location, Cougle said.

Bell, who had been reported missing to the Phoenix Police Department on Jan. 21, is being housed at the Long Creek Youth Development Center until she can be reunited with her parents.

Auburn police detectives are working jointly with the Phoenix Police Department to investigate the circumstances of this incident, Cougle said.
