AUBURN – Erica Lynn Butler, 44, of Hudson, formerly of Stratton, died Wednesday evening at the Androscoggin Hospice House in Auburn. She was born in Farmington, Oct. 3, 1977 the daughter of Michael P. and Pearl T. (Condon) Butler and graduated from Mt. Abram High School in 1994. She continued her education at the University of Maine at Farmington earning her degree in education and then continued her education by attending the University of Maine at Augusta where she earned her degree in nursing. She most recently was employed as a nurse at Acadia Hospital in Bangor. She was an accomplished steel drum player, loved fishing, and especially enjoyed going to the family camp.
She is survived by her parents of Stratton; brothers, Derek of Aurora, Colo., and Davin of Hudson; two nephews, Keegan Murray and Kaius Butler.
Private family interment will be in the spring at the New Eustis Cemetery. Memories may be shared in her Book of Memories at http://www.wilesrc.com. Cremation care has been provided by the Wiles Remembrance Center of Farmington.
