Lawrence Irving Corriveau
NEW GLOUCESTER – Lawrence Irving Corriveau, 70, of 1 Spring Valley Lane, New Gloucester, died Friday, Jan. 28, 2022, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Lewiston. Born in Berlin, N.H., he was the oldest son of Rosaire and Winona Russell Corriveau. He was educated in New Hampshire and moved to Maine as a young man. Always a hard worker, Larry was employed as a truck driver by Pike Industries for 40 years, retiring in 2016 at the Age of 64. On Sept. 1, 1994, he married the love of his life, the former Alberta May Westleigh, and they made their home in New Gloucester. Larry was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting in his younger years. As his health faded he grew to love birdwatching.
Survivors include his loving wife, Alberta, two stepsons, Christopher Morrill and wife Roxanne, and Matthew Morrill and wife Briana, two brothers, Michael and Neil, four sisters, Cecelia and husband Maurice Morrissette, Terri Cyr, Rita Bates, and Susan Corriveau, three grandchildren, Kelsey, Maddox, and Parker Morrill, a daughter, Tena Marie Corriveau, grandchildren, Nataya, Chiana, and all of his loving sisters- and brothers-in-law, niece’s, and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a stepson, Scott Morrill, two grandchildren, Brittany Morrill and Joshua Hotham, a sister, Diane Corrigan, and a brother-in-law, Bob Cyr.
