Margarita Clifford
AUBURN – Margarita Clifford, 97, passed away Jan. 29, 2022. She was born Dec. 5, 1924 in Auburn, a daughter of the late Peter and Margaret Allen. She lived in Auburn most of her life and graduated from Edward Little High School in 1942. Worked at Bates College for several years and at Farm credit Services for nine years. She married Albert Clifford in April of 1947. Margarita enjoyed reading, computers, quilting, long walks and traveling. Survived by daughter, Paula Bolduc (Steve) of Mechanic Falls, and son Alan Clifford (Kathy) of Marion, Ohio. Seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; husband in 2014; siblings: Viola Sullivan, James Allen, Loretta Armstrong, Gloria Gowell, Anita Fontaine and Virginia (Dolly) Allaire, infant daughter Susan Margaret, and a great-granddaughter, Annabella Graham.
