RLRHS is pleased to announce that Michelle Landry has been hired as Executive Director and will start her duties on March 7, 2022.  Michelle has more than 20 years of experience with museums and cultural institutions, most notably as Superintendent and CEO of Roosevelt Campobello International Park in New Brunswick, Canada, and Deputy Director at Castle in the Clouds in Moultonborough, New Hampshire. Michelle has extensive experience curating and caring for historical, archival, natural history, and art collections.

Of her new position Michelle stated: “The Historical Society has a strong foundation in preserving and sharing the Rangeley region’s fascinating heritage. I look forward to building on that and working with the Board to further strengthen the organization’s impact and its connection with the community.”

Michelle and her husband Randy spent many years living and working in New Hampshire, and most recently lived in Lubec, Maine. They both enjoy outdoor pursuits and very much look forward to relocating to the beautiful Rangeley region.
