BOSTON — Northeastern University is pleased to recognize those students who distinguish themselves academically during the course of the school year. The following local students were recently named to the University’s dean’s list for the Fall semester, which ended in December 2021.

* Bethel resident William Harvey, majoring in Design.

* Bethel resident Olivia Cordeiro, majoring in Intl Affairs/Criminal Justice.

* Greenwood resident Andrew Small, majoring in Asian Studies.

* Lovell resident Cecilia Cormier, majoring in Political Science/Economics.

To achieve the dean’s list distinction, students must carry a full program of at least four courses, have a quality point average of 3.5 or greater out of a possible 4.0, and carry no single grade lower than a C- during the course of their college career. Each student receives a letter of commendation and congratulation from their college dean.

DURHAM, NH — Maxx Parys of Bethel has been named to the Dean’s List at the University of New Hampshire for earning Highest Honors for the fall 2021 semester. Parys is majoring in Mechanical Engineering.

Students named to the Dean’s List at the University of New Hampshire are students who have earned recognition through their superior scholastic performance during a semester enrolled in a full-time course load (12 or more graded credits). Highest honors are awarded to students who earn a semester grade point average of 3.85 or better out of a possible 4.0. Students with a 3.65 to 3.84 average are awarded high honors and students whose grade point average is 3.5 through 3.64 are awarded honors.
