WEST PARIS — Missing your Flock?

Based on the Parable of the Lost Sheep (Luke 15:1-7 and Matt 18:12-14 )
In the parable of the lost sheep, Jesus shows us how much God values everyone. If one is separated from the rest of the flock, God values each and every one of us like a shepherd that would leave the flock of 99 to go in search of the 1 lost sheep and will rejoice when that one is found.

In this time of the covid pandemic, we have often been separated from our flock. We at the West Parish Congregation Church, United Church of Christ want to bring the flock together again by gathering up the lost sheep.

Who are we looking for? If you are connected to our church in any way, or you would like to be connected to our flock. You don’t have to be a member of our church. This includes you even if you are out of the state or country! We would love to hear from Everybody! including youth who are in college or have moved away, people who can’t get out or are hospitalized, or snowbirds, …

How do I connect with the flock? Make a sheep

We invite you to make a sheep of any kind for you and everyone in your family. About 3” to 12 “ in size. Somewhere connected to
your sheep, attach your name and current contact information if the church doesn’t have it. We emphasize that your sheep can be in any form! We affirm the United Church of Christ’s Welcome statement, “Whoever you are and wherever you are on life’s journey; you
are welcome here!”
