Rangeley Health and Wellness Help Adult Respite Care Volunteer Training Rangeley Health and Wellness senior program, HARC (Help Adult Respite Care) is holding its annual volunteer training on Tuesday, March 8th, 10:00AM -2:00PM.
This program provides family caregivers with a day of relief from the demands of their caregiving roles while providing services for homebound seniors with memory loss.
There is a lot we can do as a community to make our seniors know they are still precious and valuable. Volunteers assist in activities which may include arts and crafts, games, therapy animals, music, guest speakers and movement/exercise techniques.
Volunteer commitment is only one day per month and lunch is included.
People with dementia can enjoy life, they can continue to have meaningful relationships, they are still unique people who make a difference to those around them. Be a rewarding part of that difference!
