Scott Allen Groves Sr.
BRYANT POND – Scott Allen Groves Sr., 72 passed away on February 14, 2022, with his loving family by his side, at the Androscoggin Hospice House in Auburn. He was born October 27, 1949, in Augusta, a son of the late Raymond Groves and Ann (Severance) Neptune. He married the love of his live Mary Elizabeth Shuart on June 28, 1975. Scott was a retired police officer and then retired from the electrician trade. Although Scott retired from the work force, he was proud to be known as a professional Pop Pop. Scott’s greatest joy was spending time with and watching his grandchildren. He was predeceased by his loving mother Ann Neptune, and his beloved wife Mary GrovesHe leaves to cherish is memory his loving children his daughter, Katie Billings and her husband Andrew, son Scott Groves Jr. and his finance Lisa Sinclair, and his daughter Deanna Groves.He also leaves behind his 16 grandchildren, Nicole, Chelsea, Jared, Kylie, Raymond, Abbie, Lexi, Natalie, Joseph, Zachary, Gabrielle, Morgan, Joshua, Daniel, Graig, and Greta. The family will greet friends on Sunday February 20, 2022, from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the Chandler Funeral Home 45 Main Street South Paris Maine. A funeral service will take place at 3:00 p.m. Arrangements are under the care of Chandler Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
