Stella G. Lemieux
AUBURN – Stella G. Lemieux, 64, of Auburn, died unexpectedly Saturday morning Feb. 12, 2022, at her home. She was born in Lewiston on May 7, 1957, a daughter of Conrad and Lorraine (Blais) Gervais. Stella was educated in local schools, graduated from St. Dominic’s Regional High School in 1975 and attended Mt. Ida Junior College for two years.
On Oct. 1, 1977 she married Daniel Lemieux at Holy Family Church in Lewiston and together they settled in Auburn to raise their family. Stella worked for more than 20 years at Penmor Lithographers until her retirement as a Bindery Supervisor. She was currently working as a supervisor in the family business Green Thumb Pharms at the time of her passing.
Stella attended Sacred Heart Church and enjoyed crafting, tending to her flower and vegetable gardens, spending time with her family at their home on Taylor Pond and the company of her three granddogs Zuul, Bosco and Beau. She was a mother bear to her chosen tribe and her children Stephanie and Christopher were her absolute pride and joy. For the last 10 months, she has adored her only grandchild, Odin Theriault, who was absolutely the “apple of her eye.”
She was a loving, devoted and hardworking wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed.
Stella leaves behind her husband of 44 years, Daniel Lemieux of Auburn; her daughter, Stephanie Lemieux and her fiancé Glenn Theriault of Turner, her son, Christopher Lemieux of Auburn;
her mother-in-law, Connie Lemieux; brother-in-law, Michael Lemieux and wife Rita, sister-in-law, JoAnn Lalemand and husband Karl, sister-in-law, Michelle Kyllonen and husband Dave and their families; and several nieces, nephews and cousins; lifelong friends Tom and Rhonda; and her grandcat Banchee. \She was predeceased by her parents, her father-in-law, Normand Lemieux; and brother-in-law, David Lemieux.
