The University of Maine Cooperative Extension  and University of New Hampshire Extension plans to offer a webinar for home gardeners on propagating trees and shrubs in winter months from 6 to 7:15 p.m. Monday, March 7.

“Propagating Trees and Shrubs in the Winter Months” includes suggestions on which trees and shrubs to propagate during late winter or early spring dormancy, essential tools and supplies, and best practices, according to a news release from UMaine.

Bryan Peterson, UMaine associate professor of environmental horticulture, will lead the workshop.

Registration is required; a sliding scale program fee is optional.
