HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. — Two local students have been named to the 2021 fall dean’s list for their academic achievements at Hofstra University. The are Francelia Depalma of Carthage, and Lucy Frenette of Lewiston. Students must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 during the semester to make the dean’s list.

DAVENPORT, Iowa — Lindsay Webber of Readfield graduated Dec. 17, 2021, with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic’s West campus in San Jose, California. Palmer College of Chiropractic also has campuses in Davenport, Iowa, and Port Orange, Florida.

Recent police killings in New York, Harris County, Texas, and elsewhere must not be forgotten, lest they become more common and public safety is further compromised.
