Paul Emile Rodrigue

CONROE, Texas – On March 3, 2022, Paul Emile Rodrigue passed away in Conroe, Texas. He returned to our Lord after enduring complications from COPD and Covid.

Paul was born in Lewiston, Maine on March 3, 1930. He married his neighborhood sweetheart, Juliette Huard, on Jan. 27, 1951. Paul served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict with honorable discharge. He worked at the Shapiro Shoe Co. for many years until they closed their doors. Paul worked for the US Postal Service in Portland and Auburn until he retired. During retirement, he worked part time for Beddard’s Pharmacy. Paul enjoyed serving his community and was actively involved with his church, St Peter’s & Paul Basilica.

In 2004, Paul and Juliette moved to McKinney, Texas to be close to their only daughter’s family. In 2018, Paul moved to The Woodhaven Senior Village in Conroe, Texas where he made many friends and was well liked.

Paul is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Carrigan and Gerry Raymond; his grandchildren Brandi Shurek and Jason Raymond; his great-grandchildren Tanner, Hannah, and Bennett’s Shurek. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. As a father, Pepere, and friend, Paul will be greatly missed.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Napoleon and Loretta Rodrigue; his brothers Gil, Guy, Maurice and Henry Rodrigue, his wife Juliette Rodrigue; and his grandson Jeremy Raymond.

No memorial service is planned at this time.
