Carri J. Frechette
LEWISTON – With broken hearts, we wish to announce the passing of our angel, Carri Frechette, 41, of Norway, who gained her wings on March 12th at Central Maine Medical Center due to medical complications. Carri was born to Richard and Jane Frechette and took her first breath on July 7, 1980, at Stephens Memorial Hospital in Norway. Carri lived her whole life in her family home in Norway. She went to school in the Oxford Hills School District and graduated from Oxford Hills in 1998. She then went on to Central Maine Technical College where she majored in Graphic Design. After completing her schooling she worked at the Bethel Citizen as a graphic artist and secretary for 21 years where she met many friends from the area. Carri lived a full and happy life surrounded by family and more friends than you could count. Her nephews meant more to her than words can describe. She loved her family pets and spoiled them rotten. She enjoyed taking family camping trips, having family and friend game nights and gatherings. She also enjoyed reading and cooking. She was an active member of Team Hailey Hugs and helped support countless fundraisers over the years. She is survived by her parents Richard and Jane, sister Kayla Hoke and her husband Jared, nephews Alaric and Rylen, her Uncle and Aunt, Stan and Martha Bumpus, cousins Dawn Kimball and Merri-Beth Bumpus, and several other aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Oliver and Thelma Frechette, and maternal grandparents, Harry and Evelyn Harper, as well as several aunts and uncles. The family would like to thank her countless medical providers over the years that have helped to support Carri’s various medical needs. Visiting hours will be held at Oxford Hills Funeral Services, 1037 Main Street, Oxford on Friday, March 25, 2022 from 6-8 p.m. A brief service will take place at 7 p.m. Online condolences may be shared with her family at http://www.oxfordhillsfuneralservices.com. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Team Hailey Hugs, PO Box 636, Bethel, Maine, a non-profit that was near and dear to Carri’s heart, or any charitable organization of your choosing.
