Joyce L. (Wentworth) Paakkonen Beaudoin

NORWAY – Joyce L. (Wentworth) Paakkonen Beaudoin, 89, passed away on Sunday March 13, 2022, at Bridgton Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was born Nov. 2, 1932, in Fryeburg, a daughter of the late Harold and Stella (Thorne) Wentworth. She attended and graduated from the local school system.Joyce worked at several local shoe factories, Stewarts Cannery (Cornshop) and Wilners. She was a loving wife and mother her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. She also cared for many foster children bringing them into her home and providing care and support.,She was predeceased by her husband’s Wilho E. Paakkonen and Roland Beaudoin, her parents Harold and Stella Wentworth, her daughter Katarina Bruneau and her husband Mark and her grandson Bradley Paakkonen, along with her eight brothers and sisters.She found a love of sewing, quilting, cooking, crafts, and especially decorating cakes for her family.She is survived by her loving children Jimmie Paakkonen and his wife Hazel of South Pairs, Shelley Nicholas and her husband Steven of Harrison and Debora Peterman and her companion Bernard of Belfast, Grandchildren Scott, Tracie, Amy, Audrey, Alyson, Stevie, Cassandra, Jeffrey, Benjamin, Christopher, and Kelley Great grandchildren, Sydni, Savana, Kayla, Rachael, Haileigh, Tyce, Alislinn, Lillia, Cedric, and Braelynn. Her Great great granddaughter Alivia.A graveside side will take place at the Pine Grove Cemetery in the family lot.
