The Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War, 1861-65, Hannah F. Richardson Tent 19 in Stoneham, held their first meeting of the year at the home of Carlene Gavin on Norway Lake, according to a news release from the non-profit women’s volunteer organization.

Department of Maine President Sally Sawyer and Department of Maine Registra Elsie Bonney installed new members for this year and also to initiate a new incoming member, Nancy Coshow of Bridgton.

The next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, March 24, at the same location.
