The 39th Maine Maple Sunday Weekend is set for March 26 and 27.

Sugarhouses across the state plan to welcome visitors for a day (or two, as many of them offer events for the full weekend) of maple-tasting, games, sugarbush tours, music, plenty of sweet treats and more.

“This event is an excellent way to support local family businesses and producers in Maine, as it is a key part of their revenue,” said Scott Dunn, president of the MMPA, according to a news release from Nancy Marshall Communications. “But it is also just a great way for families and friends to get out and enjoy themselves after a long winter in Maine, learn a bit about the maple industry and savor something sweet.”
