I wonder, why change the zoning around Auburn water supply?

Auburn has many acres of available land to build housing and development on. Who is going to profit from this development?

Historically housing with water views and/or near a lake is for the wealthy. We need affordable housing.

People should look around the world; water is a precious commodity. If we contaminate our water supply, who can afford the building of a water treatment system because we have some people who are putting their profit over the health of our water?

Yes, we need housing that is affordable; there is plenty of acreage in Auburn to do this.

But not at our water supply.

Are the city and developers going to guarantee that their development will not harm the water supply, and let’s not forget the wildlife?
