I am so pleased to write this letter in support of Bettyann Sheats’ candidacy for Senate District 20.
Bettyann has admirably served her community in many ways. As a two-term state representative she was a thoughtful dedicated public servant who listened carefully to her constituents and considered all sides of an issue. She found common ground among diverse views and addressed issues in a thoughtful and intelligent manner.
She understands the issues affecting our community’s small business owners, as she is one herself. As a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, Bettyann has a deep understanding of the sacrifices our veterans have made and knows how to support them. Bettyann truly has an extraordinary set of skills and knowledge to bring to bear on her work as a state senator.
I am excited to endorse Bettyann’s candidacy and hope people will join me in supporting her.
