Sharon Marie Cressey

CANTON – Sharon Marie Cressey, 71, passed away surrounded by family on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at home in Canton. She was born May 22, 1950, in Lewiston, to Carolyn and Arthur Hanrahan. She grew up in Minot and Mechanic Falls, attending Mechanic Falls’ schools. She loved playing cards and Yahtzee, going on Long Lake with the family on the pontoon, going on walks, and love spending time with family and friends (even if it was to watch the kids, she loved them). Some of her favorite shows were Walker Texas Ranger, wrestling and her number one favorite was DAYS OF OUR LIVES. Her favorite radio station was 99 the Wolf, and of course, she always wanted her “Dunkin” iced coffee. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Ralph and Villa, her parents, Carolyn and Arthur, her sister, Nancy and brother Arthur Jr. She is survived by her brother Henry Cressey Sr. of Auburn, a sister Peggy Roberts and husband Gary of Hebron, a niece Tracy Heintz and husband Davey of Canton, and great-niece Mika Johnson and fiancé Keith Masse of Dixfield, and many more nieces and nephews. A service will be held on Saturday, April 2 at 1 p.m., at Chandler Funeral Home, 26 West Dwinal Street, Mechanic Falls. Arrangements are under the care of Chandler Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
