Victor Thibodeau
ROXBURY – Victor Thibodeau, 70, died Wednesday, March 23, 2022, in Roxbury. He was a resident of Byron.Born in Rumford, on June 22, 1951, he was a son of Romeo and Lorene (McKenna) Thibodeau. Victor was a graduate of Stephens High School in Rumford and worked on the Unloading Crew for NewPage Paper Mill in Rumford until his retirement. He enjoyed riding his dirt bike and riding his boat on Roxbury Pond.Victor was married in Mexico, on Oct. 7, 1972, to Theresa Chessie who died in Byron, on Dec. 21, 2021.He is survived by a son Eric of Mexico, a daughter Carrie Lalena and husband Dennis of Dover Foxcroft, grandchildren, Joshua Thibodeau, Victoria Lalena, Dominick Lalena and Sophia Thibodeau, a brother Sydney Thibodeau and wife Kathy of Raymond, N.H., sisters, Angela Matthews and husband Mike of Rumford and Denise Francis and husband Larry of Mexico.He was predeceased by two sisters, Rosemary and Laurie.Friends and family are invited to sign the online guest book and share memories with the family at http://www.meaderandson.com.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12 p.m., noon, on Saturday April 2, 2022, at the Parish of the Holy Savior St Athanasius St John Church, 126 Maine Ave., in Rumford. Arrangements are under the direction of the Meader & Son Funeral Home 3 Franklin St Rumford, ME.
