ANSWER: I’m putting this out into Sun Spots Land in the event a senior center, child care center, or a crafter would like these cards.

You can also send them to St. Jude Children’s Ranch Recycled Card Program, 100 St. Jude’s St., Boulder City, NV 89005.

Send only the front of the cards. The children make new cards to sell to make money for the ranch. It’s a good way to repurpose them.

Hallmark, American Greetings, and Disney cards are not accepted due to copyright laws. You can also donate new cards with or without envelopes. For more information, call 1-702-294-7100

DEAR SUN SPOTS: Would you have information for someone who would pick up leftover garage sale items?

ANSWER: This really depends on what you have. If you are just looking to get rid of all the leftovers, you can call O’ Brien Property Services (http://obrienpropertyservices.com/?utm_source=gmb&utm_medium=referral.) The number is 615-6584.

The Dump Guys (https://www.thedumpguy.com/) is a company I’ve used. They will haul all your stuff away. The number is 450-5858.

Another option is Convenient Junk Removal, (http://convenientjunk.com/, 417-1962).

Before you do that, you could just put out a FREE sign and leave the leftovers for 24 hours if that’s possible and of course, weather permitting. You’ll be amazed at what gets taken.

For your desktop computer, you will first want to be sure no personal information is left on the hard drive. Depending on how old it is, after reading this, someone may reach out to Sun Spots to claim it for their nonprofit.

If not, you can take it to Staples or Best Buy and they will recycle it for you.
