NORWAY – Lila M. Maselek, 84, of South Paris passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Stephens Memorial Hospital. She was born in Lewiston on June 22, 1937, the daughter of Jules and Irma (Chouinard) Hamel.

She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Hartford, Conn., and worked as a Registered Nurse, first at Hartford Hospital and later in Maine at Market Square Health Care Center in South Paris.

Lila is survived by sons Paul and Karl Hinkel; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband Edward in 2019; and her son Kurt in 1995.

Lila’s family will be celebrating her life privately. Interment will be at the Maine Veterans Cemetery in Augusta.
