Concert to benefit autism slated for Winthrop

In honor of World Autism Acceptance Day, a concert is scheduled for 2-4 p.m. Saturday, April 2, at Van der Brew at 30 Summer St. in Winthrop.

The concert will feature American/Folk music by Stone Quarry, Catbird Crossing, Hurray Down Sunshine and Ed Desjardins, according to a news release from the brewery.

All donations will go to the Autism Society of Maine.

People can bring a lunch or snacks. Craft beers will be available to purchase.

There is no admission to the all-ages event; donations are encouraged.
