Biscuit is a handsome, adult rabbit who is ready for a new home. He is a calm fella who doesn’t ask for much. He allows some holding and especially likes getting attention from a particular staff member. He enjoys snuggling in her long hair!

Did you know… while small rabbits are cute” many larger rabbits are calmer, gentler, and don’t need much extra space? In general, rabbits can live 8 to 12 years or more, so before you adopt a rabbit, be sure you are prepared to feed, house, and offer attention to a pet for that many years. Although rabbits don’t need to go outside or be walked like dogs, they do need time every day out of their cages. Daily exercise aids in their digestion and prevents excessive weight gain, plus many rabbits enjoy running around and jumping on top of things (supervised, of course). Biscuit’s adoption fee is $25 with an approved application. For more information, contact the shelter at 743-8679 or stop in during our open hours.
