The story of David and Goliath is an inspirational testament to the human spirit. What is going on now in real time in Ukraine is just the same as what was written about so many years ago.
Goliath, in this case, is the resident bully on the block, running the show in Russia. Bullies know nothing else but self-satisfaction and the comfort that comes from their own reflection in the mirror. The furthest thing in a bully’s mind is the possibility that someday their reign of terror will come to an end.
David, in this case, is all of us standing up to the bully on the block. Triumph of the human spirit is on the line, so with each of us doing our own part in a coordinated way, united in a single purpose and satisfied that good will prevail against evil — then nothing is impossible in a righteous cause.
