Karen Roberta Smith

AUBURN – Karen Roberta Smith passed away peacefully on March 17, 2022, at Clover Manor. She was born on July 19, 1955, in Lewiston to Amie and Yvette (Peppin) Giroux.

Karen went on to graduate from the University of Maine with a bachelor’s degree in social service. She enjoyed making custom cakes and was a baker at Shaw’s. Karen also spent time as the head cook at Dionne Commons in Brunswick. Her favorite times were spent with her son and grandson.

She was predeceased by her parents, Amie and Yvette Giroux.

She is survived by her son, Chad Smith and daughter-in-law, Kaylan Brown; sister, Paula Brown; and grandson, Cayden Smith.
