RANGELEY — The Church of the Good Shepherd, an Episcopal faith community at 2614 Main St., plans to celebrate Holy Week beginning on Palm Sunday, April 10, and culminating on Easter Day, April 17.

The church of the Good Shepherd welcomes all to the following services:

• Palm Sunday, April 10, 7:30 and 9:30 a.m.: A service remembering Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem; to include a liturgy of the palms, the reading of St. Luke’s Passion, and Holy Eucharist.

• Maundy Thursday, April 14, 6 p.m.: A reflective service commemorating the institution of the Holy Eucharist, and the Mandatum novum (New Commandment) Jesus gave his disciples: “Love one another,” according to a news release from the church. The service will conclude with the stripping of the altar.

• Good Friday, April 15, noon: A reflection on the cross at Golgotha and Jesus’ last words; to include the reading of St. John’s Passion, and chanted ancient prayers unique to the liturgy of the day.

• Easter Day, April 17, 8:30 a.m.: A celebration of Jesus’ resurrection; to include a Festal Holy Eucharist, with music as well as hymns and readings.
