Brenda J. Smith
AUBURN – Brenda J. Smith, 74, of Auburn, died Monday, March 28, 2022, at Maine Medical Center in Portland.
Born in Lewiston on Nov. 19, 1947, she was the daughter of Alcide C. and Carlene Ward Gauthier Sr. Educated locally, she worked for L.L. Bean for over 35 years. Brenda enjoyed Bingo, going to the casino, and playing poker with family.
Survivors include two daughters, Kathy St. Amand of Durham and Cindy Jennings and partner Paul Saucier of Auburn; two brothers, Robert Gauthier and wife Dot of Bowdoinham, and Ken Gauthier of Lewiston, a sister, Joy and husband Wayne Butterfield Sr. of Leeds; five grandsons, Scott, Shaine, and Korey St. Amand, and Tyler and Jessie Jennings; six great-grandsons, Anthony Ryan, Cody, Mason, and Royce St. Amand, and Levi and Colton Jennings; and two great-granddaughters, Avrilynn and Edna St. Amand. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Roy Paradis, and a brother, Alcide C. Gauthier Jr.
Services will be held Sunday, April 10, from 1 to 6 p.m., at the CJ Hall, 711 Webster St., Lewiston. Memories may be shared at http://www.albert-burpee.com.
