Lewiston library plans bookmark crafting program

The Lewiston Public Library plans to host a bookmark crafting program at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, at 200 Lisbon St.

Botanical Bookmarks, sponsored by the library, involves creating a personalized spring-themed bookmark using assorted pressed flowers and herbs, colorful paper, and choice of tassel or decorative ribbon, according to a news release from the library.

Optional plastic coverings will be available to protect the bookmarks from wear and tear.
