To the Editor:

In response to Phil Crossman’s letter to the Advertiser on March 31 on the confirmation hearing of Judge Jackson to the Supreme Court: You were complaining about how she was treated by the Republicans – well, I guess you forgot how the Democrats treated Brett Kavanaugh during his confirmation hearings.

The Democrats almost had that poor man in tears. They tore him down, degraded him, and were about as nasty to him as they could possibly be. Judge Jackson’s hearing was a cakewalk compared to how Kavanaugh was treated, and you know it. Judge Kavanaugh is an outstanding judge, a true family man who loves his country, and the Democrats dragged him through the mud.

I have never seen politicians stoop as low as they have gone. Encouraging riots back in 2020 – did you forget about that too? The politicians and the media really need to state the facts and only the facts. They only tell the truth when it benefits them. Shame on them again.

This country has a lot of things to fix. I know it and so does Mr. Crossman. Let’s hope we all come to our senses and work together for the better of all of us.
