Beverly Joan Grenfell Strout

LEWISTON – Beverly Joan Grenfell Strout, 89, of Greene, formerly of Raymond, died early Wednesday morning, April 13, 2022 at the Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.She was born on Aug. 16, 1932, in New Haven, Conn., the daughter of, John C. and Emily J. (Withycomb) Grenfell.Beverly graduated from Quinnipiac College in Hamden, Conn., and worked in accounting and as a bookkeeper. She retired after years as a Maine realtor.She enjoyed playing cards, bingo and was an avid reader.She is survived by her daughter, Constance J. DeSiata and her husband, Daniel of Miramar Beach, Fla.; a son, William E. Strout, Jr. and his wife, Julia of Auburn; many nieces, nephews, friends and “bingo buddies.” She was predeceased by her husband, William E. Strout Sr. in 1994.A time of visitation will be held from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m., Friday, April 15, 2022, at the Hall Funeral Home, 165 Quaker Ridge Road in Casco before processing to the Riverside Cemetery in Raymond for words of committal.Condolences and tributes may be shared with her family at http://www.hallfuneralhome.net.
