Shawn Knowlan
OXFORD – ShawnKnowlan, 44, of Oxford died on March 22, 2022, from a heart attack. His loss was unexpected and the family is shocked and deeply saddened.He is survived by his two daughters, Kyle and Hailey Knowlan, grandmother Patricia Valley, mother and stepfather, Robin and Duane Millet, his brother and sister-in-law, Derek and Darcy Millet and their three children Addison, Aubrianna, and Bronsen, and longterm partner Hazel Colburn.Shawn was born on Aug. 5, 1977, in Norway. He attended Oxford Hills High School and Oxford Hills Technical School for their Electronics Program and graduated from both in 1997. He was also the DJ/MC for many Project Grad nights for OHCHS. Shawn worked in maintenance for many companies over the years. He spent the past years working two years at Clover Manor and was their Assistant Maintenance Director. Shawn was heavily involved with the Norway Fire Department. He spent many years volunteering at the Oxford and Fryeburg Fairs running the Norway Fireman’s Dice Game and Fireman’s Muster respectively. He also spent many summers as a camper at the Advent Christian Campgrounds, and as he got older he tended the pool. Anyone who knew Shawn, knew that he was kind and warm. He had an immense passion for camping, fishing, and music. Shawn’s family and friends will miss him more than words can say.There will be a Celebration of Life held on April 23, 2022 at 2 p.m., at the Norway Fire Station.
