Letter B Notch Riders are scheduled to have their first meeting of 2022 on Sunday, April 24, at 9 a.m. at the Upton House.
Penny needs to renew her driver’s license this year. She went to the Bureau of Motor Vehicles in Rumford to find out what she needs to do for that. She was informed that her current driver’s license and her birth registration card were not sufficient identification and that she needs to submit a birth certificate before she can receive a renewal.
The woman at BMV gave Penny some contact information for Vital Check, a company that can expedite vital records. After a lengthy internet conversation and $50 spent, her birth certificate arrived here. The information that Vital Check required was a copy of Penny’s current driver’s license scanned and sent to Vital Check.
