AUBURN — A Follow Me Down to the Garden program is set for 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, at the Auburn Public Library’s Androscoggin Community Room, 49 Spring St.

Christine Conlogue, a master gardener with the University of Maine Orono Cooperative Extension, will share simple steps for participants to be creative in growing veggies.

Topics will include soil amending, optimizing garden space, tailoring a crop to one’s family’s favorites, pest control, when to plant, when to harvest and preserving suggestions.
