Raymond A. Landry

TURNER – Raymond A. Landry, 86, of Turner, passed away on April 28, 2022 at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center. He was born in Westbrook on April 13, 1936, the son of Raymond J. and Mildred Landry of Brunswick. Ray was educated in Brunswick schools.

Between the years of 1956, and 1958 he was a member of the Marine Corps Reserves. On Sept. 5, 1959 he married Joline G. Brousseau of Lewiston.

Ray was a glazier by trade, working for Portland Glass, and later for Modern Glass until he suffered a disability in 1989.

Ray enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling, and camping. He belonged to the Pine Tree Gypsy Camping Club. Ray also enjoyed several cruises with his wife, and over 50 years of camping trips.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Joline; son Stephen and wife Jane of Augusta. daughter Michelle and husband Mike Dumais of Auburn; sister Mary Beck of Chicago, brother John and wife Randi of Brunswick; his grandchildren, Rachael of Augusta, Katherine and husband Billy Colasanta of Lewiston, Bryson and Jillian Dumais of Auburn.

In addition to his parents, Ray was predeceased by an infant son, Raymond Jr.; and sister Jan Hughes of Chicago.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Turner Rescue staff for all the care they provided to Ray.

Services will be held on May 6, 2022 at Funeral Alternatives 25 Tampa St. Lewiston, Maine. A memorial visitation will be held from 11 a.m. till noon. A service will follow immediately at noon. All are welcome to stay for a celebration of life luncheon following the services.
