The wins came at an opportune time for the Rebels as they struggled out of the gate dropping their first three games. The Rebels opened the 2022 campaign with a home loss against Hall-Dale by a score of 16-4. The Rebels managed seven hits by Macie Hallett, Leah Kimball (2), Karen Marshall, Natasha Mason and Makenzie Eliot, but early season jitters contributed to defensive lapses.

Telstar’s woes continued in their third game, after being vanquished by Monmouth Academy 16-2.  The Rebels managed but three hits by Natasha Mason, Macie Hallett and Payton Berry.  Brooklyn Federico went the distance for Monmouth striking out six Rebels.
