A Concert for Ukraine in honor of and in solidarity with the resilient spirit of the Ukrainian People presented by the Rangeley Ecumenical Bell Choir and directed by Sue Downes-Borko will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 13, at the Good Shepherd Church in Rangeley.
The Concert will include music by the Rangeley Ringers, Sue Downes-Borko, Robert Ludwig, Sam Meehan, Michele Cerminara and others. We are honored to have Yanina Nickless, from Ukraine, as our guest speaker. There will also be a display of artwork by Rangeley students.
The Rangeley Ecumenical Bell Choir was established in 1982 by Mrs. “Win” Pusey, wife of Rev. Brad Pusey of the Rangeley Congregational Church. Over the years, the Congregational Women’s Fellowship has contributed to the financial support of the choir. The Rangeley Ringers consists of 8-12 members and is directed by Sue Downes-Borko. She has been directing the choir since 2003.
The public is invited to this free event.
