LEWISTON —  Kathleen de Silva and Amanda Frost of Rinck Advertising were promoted to vice president, account services in March.

“For over a decade, Kathleen and Amanda have each strategically built their industry silos including finance, health care, transportation, retail and CPG to drive growth at the agency,” President Laura Rinck said. “I consider them to be my partners in innovation, strategy and vision planning, and I am thrilled to recognize their leadership with appointments to vice president.”

According to Rinck, de Silva has developed a deep knowledge of public transportation, financial services, health care, affordable housing, and quick-serve restaurants, among other areas. Additionally, her approach to brand strategy and the development of comprehensive marketing plans, encompassing a wide array of tactics such as traditional media, digital media, public relations, influencer marketing, experiential marketing, and more to reach client audiences has achieved desired results for her clients.

De Silva’s clients include the Northern New England Passenger Rail Authority, MaineHousing, MaineGeneral Health, and Dunkin’, for whom she has overseen award-winning campaigns. In addition to her client work, de Silva has served as a member of the agency’s executive committee for over a decade and has played a key role in bringing in new business to the agency. She serves on the agency’s wellness committee, providing resources for employees to promote physical and mental well-being. She joined Rinck in 2010 as an account planner. She is a 2001 graduate of the University of Southern Maine and lives in Windham with her husband and two children.

Amanda Frost joined Rinck as an account planner in 2012 and has been instrumental in driving new business, adding large international brands into the agency’s roster. With extensive experience in consumer-centered marketing, she creates and leads dynamically integrated strategic plans for some of the largest brands in the world. Frost heads up the consumer-packaged goods silo, and also manages clients in retail and governmental agencies. She leads well-known household name brands, such as Dove, Vaseline, and Colman’s Mustard through her account, Unilever. Her Maine clients include Lamey Wellehan and the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife. In addition, Frost serves as the agency expert in experiential marketing and has led national brand tours and interactive business-to-business brand experiences.

 With her promotion to vice president, Frost has joined the agency’s Executive Committee leadership team after contributing to the agency’s yearlong culture task force, which led to key recommendations to transform into a hybrid workplace. Frost is a 2003 graduate of Ithaca College and lives in Standish with her husband and son.
