AUBURN — Ruby McMinis posted seven goals as Wells rolled to a 15-4 win over St. Dominic Academy in a girls lacrosse matchup Tuesday.
Anna Woodward added two goals and two assists while Ava Tavares scored twice for the Warriors (6-1). Summer Sullivan tallied one goal and four assists.
Jessica Zimmerman led the Saints (2-4) with three goals. Natalia Russell stopped seven shots in net.
HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL
MADISON 14, WINTHROP 0: Brooke McKenney tossed a one-hit shutout to lead the Bulldogs (8-1) to 14-0 MVC win over the Ramblers (4-4) in Winthrop.
McKenney struck out 12 batters in the win for Madison. Landyn Landry had three hits for the Bulldogs.
BOYS LACROSSE
GARDINER 11, LEWISTON 10: Cam Rizzo had four goals and two assists in the Tigers’ (3-3) win over the Blue Devils (3-4) in Lewiston.
Cole Brann had two goals and an assist, while Sean Doyle and Nate Luiz also had two goals. Cody Bimswell added a goal, as well.
Cody Dionne had three goals for the Blue Devils, while Eli Bigelow and Aiden St. George each had two goals and two assists. Sam Courtemanche, Jackson Bement and Chase Mckeen each had a goal.
