To the Editor:

Thanks to everyone who helped clean up the Greenwood roadsides recently. Some picked up trash on the official clean-up day, May 7, and others picked up sections of road beforehand.

We are an independent bunch here in Greenwood, but we all take pride in and care about our little town.

Thanks to the following who helped keep Greenwood green: Lynn Cobb, Betsey Foster, Arnie Jordan, Norm Milliard, Dwight and Karen Mills, Pete Musso, Bob and Marilyn Oickle, Pauline Newcomb, Charlie Newell, Bill Slattery, Richard and Jacqui Wakefield, and Andrew Wheeler.

If I miss anyone, my apologies. You can blame the aging brain.
