Brazilian artist Arlin Graff painted “Zebra” in 2018 on the side of Centerville Parking Garage at the corner of Canal and Pine streets in Lewiston. The St. Louis Church Bell Tower in Auburn’s Anniversary Park in New Auburn showcases the bells recovered from the former St. Louis Church a few blocks away. When the church was closed, church leaders planned to sell the bells. A group of local citizens raised money and worked with the city to purchase them. Russ Dillingham/Sun Journal

One of the newest pieces of public art in Auburn is “Bud Form” created by Maine sculptor Hugh Lassen. The abstract sculpture at the entrance of the Longley Memorial Bridge overlooks the Androscoggin River and will be officially dedicated soon. Russ Dillingham/Sun Journal

The Shoe Fountain at Festival Plaza in Auburn was developed by Ross Miller as an homage to the history of the Lewiston-Auburn area, including Auburn’s history as a shoemaking center, and as a symbol of the area’s bright future. One of the newest and largest art installments around Lewiston-Auburn is this giant wildlife mural created by Portland artist Jared Goulette on a wall in a parking lot off Main Street between Lisbon and Park streets in Lewiston.
