The Poland Historical Society plans to host a genealogy workshop at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 4, in the old school house in the municipal complex on Maine Street.

This presentation will demonstrate techniques for finding U.S.-based genealogical information using free internet resources. It is intended for students with little or no genealogy research experience.

This course is not intended for experienced users of popular subscription websites like Ancestry. Participants should have an understanding of basic search engines like Google or Bing.
