Gloria Cecile Goulet

SABATTUS – Gloria Cecile Goulet, 70, of Sabattus, died Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Montello Manor. Born in Lewiston on March 10, 1952, the daughter of Dale and Rita (Gauthier) Cook Sr. Educated locally, she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, and worked for many years as a Registered Nurse at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center and Maine General Hospital Medical Center. On Dec. 4, 1971, she married Bertrand Goulet. They celebrated their 50th anniversary this past year. Gloria enjoyed going to casinos, fishing, and dancing at sock hops. She loved animals, and enjoyed spending time with her dogs and cats throughout the years. Besides her loving husband, she is survived by two sons, Chris Goulet and wife Christina, and Dwight Goulet and wife Carie, a daughter, Lisa and husband Tom Jacques, a brother, Dale Cook Jr., a sister, Jeannine Jones, and five grandchildren. Visitation will be held at the Albert & Burpee Funeral Home on Friday, June 3, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., with a funeral service taking place at 4:30 p.m. Memories may be shared at http://www.albert-burpee.com.
