Mariann (Colello) Dunmire
BOCA RATON, Fla. – Mariann (Colello) Dunmire, 73, died unexpectedly in her home in Boca Raton, Florida on April 26, 2022. She was born on May 15, 1948, in Portland, Maine. She grew up in Lewiston, Maine and was a longtime resident of Boca Raton, Florida. Mariann was educated in Lewiston Schools and graduated from Lewiston High School in 1966. She graduated from University of Southern Maine in 1970 receiving a BS Degree in Elementary Education. She moved to Florida in 1974.Mariann graduated from Florida Atlantic University in 1978 where she received her Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education. She worked at Maine Public Schools in Gray, Maine, from 1970 to 1974. After moving to Florida, she went to work for Morrow Elementary School from 1975 to 2010.Mariann loved spending time with her grandchildren. She loved doing ceramics, traveling, spending time with friends and family. Her favorite pastime was watching football on TV especially the New England Patriots.Survivors include a son Matthew Dunmire and wife Courtney, grandchildren, Dakota, Jackson and Savannah, sister Barbara Mathieu, niece/goddaughter Jessica Mathieu, close friends: Bonnie Dunmire, Allison Swan, Joy Miers and the Morrow Family and many cousins. She was predeceased by her mother Frances M. Colello in 2004.
