AFCI
Tuesday, June 14, is Election Day! While you’re taking care of this most important patriotic responsibility, come find the AFCI exhibit. At the polling stations of all six of our member towns, AFCI friends will host an exhibit of a bench or table (with identifying poster) at the following times: Bethel: American Legion Hall, 4-6 p.m.; Gilead: Town Hall, 3:30-5 p.m.; Greenwood: Fire Station Legion Hall, 8-10 a.m.; Hanover: Town Hall, noon-2 p.m.; Newry: Town Office, 4-6 p.m.; Woodstock: Town Office, 4-6 p.m.

This initiative is the Our Towns Project, funded by an AARP grant and conceived to thank our six member towns for their support of AFCI programs. Come to see these colorful benches and tables that will be placed in your town. They’ve been built by the Congo Craftsmen and colorfully decorated by Kate Webb (BAAM) and Freshman Academy students, and have lovely plaques donated by Amanda Moran Designs.
