PARIS — The Rotary Club of Oxford Hills was joined at their breakfast meeting recently to recognize the top 5% of the 2022 graduates of Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School. Their future plans and aspirations are extremely admirable! The Club then honored Retiring Principal Ted Moccia with a Paul Harris Fellow Award to thank him for his interest, dedication, and support of their Rotary Club over the years, as well as to the entire Oxford Hills community! A Paul Harris Fellow is an award with a $1,000 donation being made to The Rotary Foundation, the charitable arm of Rotary, and is named after the founding Rotarian, Paul Harris, in 1905, to someone who exemplifies Rotary’s motto “Service Above Self”. We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
You can read more here about our commenting policy and terms of use. More information is also found on our FAQs.
