Timothy Shawn Turner

SOUTH PARIS – Timothy Shawn Turner passed away at home June 13, 2022. He was born Nov. 10, 1965, in Norway to Kenneth and Rosemary Turner. Tim grew up in Oxford, Maine, and attended the local schools and graduated in 1984. During his high school years you could find him raising hell with his friends, enjoying his fast cars such as his T-Bird and later on his ‘57 Chevy, and let’s not forget the concerts (ZZ Top Down and Back). He started working young in life side by side with his siblings Tom “Boomer” and Heather and his parents at their family business. This taught him at a young age to work hard for what you want in life. He then went on to work out of Local 6 in Boston for 20-plus years and ended his career as a truck driver working for Cross Excavation. Tim married Tanya Smith in 1995. They were married for 13 years and had two daughters, McKenzie and Hannah. Later on in life Tim re-married to Pam McLendon after 16 wonderful years together. Tim enjoyed being a bonus father to Kyle and Colby. Family was the most important thing to Tim and he took great pride in providing for those he loved. He was always extremely proud of his nieces Zandi and Zianna and nephews Dexter, Davis and Dakota and always looked forward to seeing them and catching up. He took the time given to him to focus on his family, especially on his two granddaughters Avery and Chloe. Despite losing his arm in a traumatic accident in 2020 and a cancer diagnosis in 2022 Tim always kept a positive outlook on life. His strength and will power taught his family how to live on and live well down to the last day you’re given. Tim was predeceased by his father Kenneth “Arnold” and his son Colby. He is survived by his wife Pam, daughters McKenzie and Hannah, son Kyle, granddaughters Avery and Chloe.
