Hi readers, Phoebe here. I’ve had quite a year. I was alone outside during the middle of the winter. It was hard to find enough to eat some days. I tried to keep warm, but I was cold a lot. Then I made friends with a boy kitty. But he only wanted one thing. Then he left. I think he had girls all over town. I was alone, pregnant, and I was just a baby myself. I was only born last year! I ended up at Responsible Pet Care. Then my luck really started to change.

After a couple of weeks, I went to a place called a foster home. It was like all my dreams came true! I was warm and cozy, I had plenty to eat. People were really nice to me. I had three healthy babies. My only job was to take care of my babies and I was really good at it! The foster mom said I was a great mom. My babies are all in new homes.

And they’ll never have to worry about having kittens. I’m back at the shelter now. That way, foster mom could help another pregnant mama, and I can find my real, true forever home. I am so ready! I’m super friendly and I love people. Even the little ones. I love to sing, too! I’d try out for ‘The Voice’ but it wouldn’t be fair to the competition. I would consider living with another cat, it would depend on the cat.

I don’t really care for dogs. They disgust me. Mostly I’m ready to be someone’s best pal. To sit on the couch with someone and watch our favorite shows, to cuddle up in bed and share pillow talk. I don’t like to brag but I will help you improve your Wordle score, too. And I almost forgot – I love to play! We can have lots of fun with toys on a string. If it sounds like you could be my person, come meet me during the shelter’s open hours or give them a call to set up an appointment.
