Dennis R. Tremblay
LEWISTON – Dennis R. Tremblay, 62, of Sabattus, passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Central Maine Medical Center with his loving family by his side following a long illness.
He was born in Lewiston on March 13, 1960, the son of the late Henry T. and Theresa R. (St. Pierre) Tremblay and had been a resident of his community all his life.
Dennis enjoyed the outdoors, especially the summertime. He loved his food and enjoyed dining out. In his younger days he enjoyed riding his motorcycle. He loved to mow the lawn, plant vegetables and flowers in the garden. He loved the flowers and said they were good for his heart. He knew exactly how to save money and has taught his son to do the same. He liked to travel to see new things and he was very quick to make new friends. He was a hard-working man.
He was employed at Bath Iron Works as a welder for the Union before he was disabled. He was a Christian, believed in God and wore a cross around his neck as a reminder that God was with him. Dennis had so much love for his son Isaac. He raised a child who is very smart and was extremely proud of the man Isaac is today.
Dennis will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
He is survived by his wife, Erika Tremblay whom he married on Oct. 22, 1998, who cared and loved him all these years of Sabattus; his son, Isaac Tremblay who he adored so much, of Sabattus; seven brothers, Robert Tremblay and his wife, Theresa of Auburn, Richard Tremblay of Cape Coral, Fla., Marcel Tremblay and his wife, Sandy of Phippsburg, Donald Tremblay of Lewiston, Michael Tremblay and his wife, Nancy of Sabattus, Paul Tremblay of Lewiston and Timothy Tremblay of Texas, three sisters, Patricia Robichaud of Greene, Linda Tardif and her husband, Daniel of Sabattus and Jacqueline Tremblay of Lewiston; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Baby John Tremblay and Andrew Tremblay.
Memorial services honoring Dennis’ life will be celebrated on Thursday, June 23 at 11 a.m. at the Pinette Dillingham and Lynch Funeral Home. Committal services will then follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery. A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, June 22 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Pinette Dillingham and Lynch Funeral Home, 305 Alfred A. Plourde Parkway in Lewiston, 784-4023.
